Happy New Year and welcome to the FIRST ordering period for 2022! There are more square markets until late March, but you can still support your local farmers and makers by ordering online.

Yes it’s very cold but the good news is that our growers have the techniques to grow and bring fresh local produce to market even in winter. Items available this week include arugula, bok choi, carrots, cilantro, collards, kale, lettuce, mustards, parsley, radishes, salad mix, spinach, chard, sweet potatoes (orange or white), and turnips.

Produce notes: May Lee is back with produce—and she has lemongrass too! Plentygood is back with turnips and tuberose clumps for planting. A&A will return in late January with apples and frozen peaches. Dickey Farms has brought back their locally grown and ground cornmeal.

Bakery Notes: baked by Kori and Ozark Natural Breads are back. Aunt Susie’s Granola is selling online for the first time this week. Dirty Apron and Gingham Daisy are taking a little time off.

Meats, eggs and cheese are all available—we are thankful for these year round products.

New this week: JRs Kombucha has a new name but same owners still bringing you these locally made products—now a variety pack in convenient, recyclable cans!

Art, craft and personal care products are online too.

PICKUP TIME:
4:30pm to 6:00 pm on THURSDAY.

Order at:

https://fayettevillearkansas.locallygrown.net/market.

SNAP CUSTOMERS ONLY: you may choose pay at pickup and bring your card on Thursday. We will swipe and match as usual.

Produce growers will be adding throughout the order period so be sure to check back each day if you can’t find what you were looking for.

New customers and orders always welcome—no minimum order required.

TIPS:

1) When you start shopping, if you see items that have low availability, choose, checkout, and pay for those first.
2) Produce sellers OFTEN add more products on Monday or Tuesday in the ordering period, so be sure to check back. The product list changes each week, even from the same seller, so it’s worth exploring the categories you are interested in.
3) Multiple orders from you will be combined into one order before pickup.

PICKUP LOCATION AND PROCESS:
The OUTDOOR parking area at the south end of the new part of the Fayetteville Public Library. Approach on School Street and turn west into the outdoor parking lot (look for sign). Put your full name in your window (LARGE PRINT PLEASE) someone will meet you and direct you to a spot and your order will be brought out to you.

Thank you for your continued support of the online market.
